Abortion Again

Abortion is in the news again. Actually, it has always been in the news. In 1965 I was a moderator for a discussion panel on the subject, "should abortion be legal."

In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled, in Roe v. Wade, that women have the right to have an abortion without excessive government restrictions. And now, in 2022, it appears a new Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade or greatly restrict its use.

I watched the May 6 episode of Bill Maher's Real Time show (which aired last night, as I type these words) and the discussion topic was, not surprisingly, a woman's right to an abortion. So I was going to write a blog post about abortion, but then I realized that I've already done that, almost two years ago. For those who haven't read it, you can read it here.

Greetings
Like yourself I have read this in the past. I'm surprised as I thought the gov't had approved killing babies until they were nearly 1 year old -- I just shake my head at our leadership -- in my opinion --

Smoke and Mirrors

What a subject to be debating when gov't area allowing little children to be filled in their homes by bombs, mothers to be killed along with fathers or starved to death.

We certainly seem to be stepping back in time with Biden at our helm.

Good information and updates. Thanks

Best,

LL

Good morning!

This is an endless subject and difficult to discuss. People have different opinions and of course the government.

In my opinion, abortion is murder and since we are in the mother's womb we have a soul and spirit, that is what God has given to us to keep us alive.

I agree to have an abortion if the mother's health will be in danger but not for being irresponsible.

Great post!
